We upgraded our PowerRouter 2200 to 6.7 last week and started to have complaints from clients of latency and dropped packets.
After several days of troubleshooting and replacing an OC48 linecard in one of the SONET switches that was failing and masking the problem, we tracked it back to the Mikrotik after plugging directly into a port, starting a PPPoE session and seeing the dropped packets just hitting the IP of one of the interfaces on the router.
We rolled back to 5.24 and all the problems went away.
Are there any known issues with 6.7 and PPPoE? I see quite a bit of talk about optimizing the PPPoE code for 6.8…
