Recently, I change a machine with Linux and two AG-530 cards by a RouterBoard 333 with Mikrotik RouterOS with Atheros AR5413-based chipset (mac 00:02:6F:4E:88:75, I don’t know the card’s manufacturer).
Well, I have a Ovislink AP-1120 with R8180 chipset and a Ovislink AP-5000v2 (atheros based chipset).
Well, this is my problem: Before the changes, the link works well both with AP-1120 and AP-5000 as client. Now, with AP-5000 as client, the link works beautyful! I don’t have packet loss, the speed is very good!
If I change the AP-5000 (in this case, my old access point, now my client) by my AP-1120 (with Shortlinux / A linux for r8180 devices), I have very much packet loss, the link speed is 100/200 kbps (with 11 Mbps connection with AP), the links is terribly SLOW.
My question is: I need to configure this AP with a special configuration? Or I need change parameters in my r8180 client using iwpriv? Any other people already have this problem with same equipments?
