Actually, try 7.24beta1 :

sfp - fixed linking for hAP ax S and hEX S (2025) with "1G-baseX" link-mode;

Saw that. Actually, I created this post months ago and received the workaround above from the support team. As for 7.24, it says fix linking, but it doesn’t mention anything about auto negotiation, and that’s what important to me.

Changelog entries are highly simplified, just because they don't mentioned AN doesn't mean it's not there.

That said, we only tested our test release, not 7.24beta1.

And it doesn’t mean it’s there, that’s the thing with simplification. Setting the port on 1GB fixed has known to work for months, I'm more interested in the autoneg. In any case, since the hex s 2025 is not my main router, I will probably test 7.24 or just wait for a stable release.
