I had upgraded recently to version 3.5.
Suddenly it wouldn’t accept my password and loged me in without a password. I cant backup or update the MT version.
Even browser login is not working , shows not implemented.
Winbox works only from my laptop and no other pc.
How do i go about upgrading and backing up.

PS: I had logged in without passwd and set passwd and allowed ip and relogged in again with new pass. After 15 mins changes have gone and nothing shows in the log
A reboot sorted the problem and i upgraded to Ver 3.6 , same prob now after 10 hours…

If you are using a RB you should investigate upgrading your bios version.
I have noticed strange things on the more recent versions of ros prior to upgrading the bios.
upgrading the bios does appear to stabilize things.
Na m on a x86 pc, problem started after i upgraded from 2.9x recently
It just keeps working but if i make changes they are lost after some time and after a reboot back to where it was before it goes into this hung situation and when i check the logs it shows router was rebooted without proper shutdown.
