Problems with W-Fi

Hi,

I’m having a tough time with my RouterBoard RB75U-2HnD (RouterOS 5.16) and I hope someone can assist me..

I bought this device for VPN purposes and I couldn’t be any happier with how well it works but Wi-Fi is driving me nuts. It seems I cant configure wifi, nor can I disable it - whenever I disable wlan1 in “interface” tab then internet completely stops working (funny thing is internet wont stop working when system password is not configured).
Also I cannot set up Wi-Fi because SSID wont broadcast after configuring security profile.

I really need to resolve this issue cause my RouterBoard is conflicting signal with roommates TP-Link when WPA2 is configured (please keep in mind after configuring WPA2 SSID wont be broadcasted) I also tried to change Frequency; Band and Channel Width - nothing helps. TP-Link is working with bursts when getting closer to RouterBoard. Everything is fine when wifi is working without security profile, then SSID is broadcasting and there is no bursts for TP-Link when getting closer to RouterBoard.

Please find attached screenshot below

Does anyone have a quick advice on how can i get my wifi going with WPA2?
Thanks!

I’ll rephrase my question cause I understand I explained my issue very complicated.

Please help me to configure Wi-Fi. Whenever I add security profile routers SSID stops broadcasting..

Ok, so I resetted Wifi configuration for wlan1 interface, turned “ap mode” back on and finally SSID started to broadcast and security profile is also working. Now my routers wifi signal no longer conflicts with roommates TP-link. what a good day this is

But problem still stands with disabling wireless interface. How come disabling wi-fi as such I’m also loosing internet connectivity for LAN?

Go to IP>Addresses, then change the interface from ‘wlan1’ into ‘bridge-local’.

thank you so much, it worked!
