Hi,
We use the CRS328-4C-20S-4S+RM switches in POP’s for our FTTO needs. Could a 48 port SFP switch be on the horizon to increase density?

I would also like such a product. CSFP support is something that would also need to be prioritized for this market IMO.
Yes, we would be very happy about a switch with 24 CSPF. Or alternatively one with 48 ports.
We have already installed 150 pcs. of the CRS328-4C-20S-4S + RM in 2020. We then had to install other manufacturers at larger locations because the 24 Port 328er take up too much space.
+1!
Just looked up CSFP, That’s quite cool stuff. Pricy but for double density worth it in confined deployments.
I guess it would require special switch chips and can’t be rolled across all models via firmware
For sure.
I’v run out of ports (>24 ports in use ) on a couple of areas with sfp / sfp+.
Would love a 36/48 port sfp+.
Maybe even if it was modular and dual hot swapable power supplies.
If it native 802.11AE/ Macsec working for trunks I’d love that too !
+1 would buy many.
I think CSFP would be too exotic for mikrotik’s liking. Rather a full 48/52 port sfp switch would be better.
