i have created some profiles with specified limitations. when i set one profile for some user, it’s not possible to change profile for same user. why??? there is example. i have user named azur. it has profile with speed=3Mbps. i wana now change it’s speed on 512kbps, but i can’t there are screenshots:
after i set profile on 512kbps, and click on Save button, there is again Acutal profile=3Mbps? after reconnection is same situation? why??? i can’t belive, that i need to delete user, when i need to change it’s profile (speed). that’s mikrotik fail
I can confirm that if I create a new limitation and in that limitation I add rate limits, that after applying that limitation to a new profile, the rate limits I set are thrown away when I then go back into the limitation - all the rates I added are gone!
I can’t easily find a way to make it stay, but after a lot of clicking on different buttons and changing and removing and adding rate limits and saving I was suddenly then able to make the rate limit be saved all the time. I find it is difficult to reproduce what exactly I did that was different, but can confirm that it is not reliable and most times it does not work as expected.
On one occasion when I added tx/rx rate limits of 64k, UM added ‘min rate’ limits or 64k as well after saving, which is not what I typed in. I had left those two fields blank.
