i wantd to find out can i st up a proxy on my one rb and link my other routerboards to the first rb
so
rb 1 (172.17.100.2:3817)as the proxy
and rb 2 and 3 4 5 6 are set to a perant proxy
of 172.17.100.2:3817
will that work?
as i dont realy need an external proxy??

Use parent-proxy and parent-proxy-port to forward all the requests to the parent proxy. Parent proxy should be powerful enough, to make sure that it is not useless to process all requests over slow router.

in any way that squide can with plugins
becouse i have mikrotik proxy running verywell and i need to cache video stram like squide can but i dont want to replace my mikrotik proxy becouse of lisance i bought for may server?
does mikrotik think that will add in video cache or can it be doen!!!
please help me if its possable
