Proxy issues

My proxy is set to redirect to https://www.wispmon.com/ics/index.html. However, when Chrome errors out, it’s trying to get to https//www.wispmon.com/ics/index.html. There is only one instance of https in all of my configuration. If I remove the S, it properly redirects to the http page, but I figured payment information ought to be secured.

Why does my colon disappear?

(Yes, I know reading the above can be taken humorously… that was kind of on purpose.)

Okay, working with a colleague we determined that MT’s proxy can’t redirect from HTTP to HTTPS. I created an HTML file to redirect to HTTPS. My proxy redirects to the HTTP HTML file, which redirects to HTTPS.

HTTP redirecting to HTTPS is working as I outlined above, but HTTPS redirecting to HTTPS is not. Any ideas? I’m not looking to cache or anything. I just want customers trying to go to say https://www.facebook.com to be redirected to my billing server.

Note: Nothing against Facebook, just my customers that don’t pay.
