I would use either 29 or 30dBi dish but use manual power setting to reduce signals - Rb433 with R52Hn you can use 802.11N (XR5 = 802.11A ) which with correct bandwidth setting give you the bandwidth required with a very narrow RX/TX beamwidth without using Nstream protocol.
I prefer to use Nstreme Dual protocol. I have some nv2 links (RB433 + R52Hn) with good results, but the lantencies are not as good as when I use Nstreme Dual (RB433 + XR5).
How can I set the value for the manual power setting for an excellent link?
Signal being too high is probably going to be a issue using 29/30dBi antennas at 3Kms, for me if the signal was less than -45dBm I would edit the numbers downwards in single increments in wireless TX Power tab until the signal was above my minimum?
