hi i am from india new to mikrotik can it possible to make apoint to point link with sxt 5Hnd(ap) and sxt lite 5(station).
my question is ptp link is possible with different type of radio ?
Yes.
Both r 16 DBI radio.but my service provider says for better ptp link they need same radio with 5mhz.
Is that really needed.
From different radio can I get 100% ptp clear link?
Use those two if you already have them. More problems will be caused by interference than the fact that those devices are not identical. Using very narrow dishes with additional neck shielding is always better than using sector type antennas for the ptp links. But try it with your equipment and if you see problems, identify and solve them after that.
