I have a tower with 3 sectors and 22 clients and am currently replacing my 802.11g clients with rb’s/r52 so I can switch to nstream.
I am running voip on our non-wireless customers with VERY good call quality. I am switching to nstream to maybe get VOIP call quality up to the point that I can sell it, even if it does not match my hardwire customers. (multi-tennant buildings with leased fiber).
I do not see going much beyond the 22 registered clients because half are multi-tenant buildings that I only have 5% of the tenants signed up and the others are bigger offices that I would like to expand service by adding VOIP.
My tower is so noisy with 95 degree sectors that I think ptp is my only option to get a clean signal.
My question… Would I benefit to set up maybe 10-15 ptp connections using 5mhz channels on 5.2 5.8 2.4 ?
