pub folder removed accidentally

Hi All,

I have deleted the pub folder (which is the default share path of FTP / SMB access I believe) when I do the housekeeping on routeros flash.

May I know how to re-create it, tried to do in command line but seems no command under “files” for creating a folder.

Hi,

The file system in mikrotik does not allow creating folders from the console.
To create folders you must do it from SMB and then make folders from your Windows Explorer.

Hmm, but the pub folder is the root path of SMB I think, is there any other way to re-create it?

Solved.

Finally it auto generated when I press the “Enable” button in Winbox > IP > SMB > Shares > Double click the default entry (pub)
