Public IP WAN IP Per a Physical Interface

Hello All,

I am having trouble with the following setup:
Network.png
For the WAN I have Bridged interfaces ether10 - ether7. The link from the ISP is on ether10. I have given the bridge an IP Address of 46.XXX.130.218.

For the LAN I have Bridged interfaces ether1 - ether2, and setup Masquerade and VLANs / IPs / DHCP ect… all working correctly.

The problem is I have set static IP’s on the top Servers / Router - but I cannot ping them, and they cannot get outside. I’m sure I have set it up correctly. Any ideas? I could try a Switch instead of a Bridge, but I would loose the flexibility of a Bridge.

Thanks.

Hi,
Please post an export of your config so that we can see the exact setup.

I’ve managed to get it working. I trided using a switch insted of a bridge and it worked… went back to a bridge as above and its now working.

Not sure, maybe it was a config issue? maybe it just needed a reboot.

What would be the best way to bandwith limit the server interfaces. I tried to limit (simple queue) using ether1…9 ect. But it donsent work. Only limiting by IP address works.
