Public IP's and PPPoE

Hi,
I’m getting lost and confused by reading various posts and forum topics.
We are wanting to implement Mikrotiks in our environment but I am struggling with PPPoE and public IP’s.

What I want to do is have multiple PPPoE profiles, some handing out NAT addresses and others to assign public IP’s to clients that will bypass NAT.
I’m good on setting up the PPPoE server, profiles, IP Pools, rate limits and such but I’m struggling with routing the public IP’s.

What we have is an ISP supplied router that we do not have any configuration control over. It is the default gateway for our current draytek and uses one of our public IP’s.
Our address range is x.x.63.184/29

I can hand out a NAT’d address to a client and have it get out to the internet, I can even hand out a public IP to a client but it cannot access the internet.
Can someone shed some light on what I need to do?

Thanks in advance.

Better choice is to have /30 network from provider in order to send traffic to Internet and network bigger, f.e. /18 in local area network in order to assign addresses to the clients. Differents network style can be differed with vlans.

Hi, you can even use in Mikrotik yours Network or broadcast address from tour public pool (/29) to give Internet to the Nated users, maybe you need to add some rules to access the internet. Can you be more specific about the Mikortik equipment, configurations, etc.
