Pugin board or module

After looking at some options on Mikrotik virtualization I see we are a bit short at CPU/Memory/Storage for real virtualization.
However this can be solved by external mini PC or even better Compute module from Raspbery Pi, Nvidia Jetison or so. Nothing wrong with this but the clutter and using sometimes unreliable hardware.
But will be great if some of mid range & top range routers from Mikrotik have to possibility to use an additional upgradeable plugin module which can offload all the virtualization and let the router do whatever doing best - routing.
The elegancy of this is that the router still keep the low price tag but adds versatility.

Such router be upgraded at any moment to higher processing power which let handle any necessary task - Media server, IDS/IPS, SIEM, Monitoring, bunch of apps - and this all without any additional cabling, not breaking a sweat over performance, same power sources and so on.
The beauty of this is that this also allows to have some additional modules for LoRa, WiFi 6/7/8, 5G GSM, mini storage, 10/25/100G interfaces...
If the module is 100% Mikrotik produced then lot of the current stuff will work on it.
What do you think about it?

The RDS2016 might tick some of those boxes, (but maybe at the highish end)
