Putting 2.9 onto a CF card

I’d like to try the 2.9 beta on a new CF card in my Soekris Net4501 box. I did the original install by downloading the CF image and blowing it onto a CF card on another PC.

So far, I don’t see this option on the 2.9 download page. Can we have this to test?

I presume I’m going to run into licencing issues with this as well. Is there a way to migrate whilst keeping the option of going back to the old flash card?

What option don’t you see?
You’ve /system package downgrade on 2.9.x if I understood you correctly.

If you look at the download page for 2.8 there’s a CF image available. This doesn’t show on the 2.9 download page.

use Netinstall for installation. Or you can siomply upgrade your 2.8 version to 2.9 by FTPing the new package files and rebooting. Read the manual please
