How about the idea of adding a powerline AP with poe output? I think it will provide more flexible installations.
I had a look at mAP to use it with PWR-LINE adapter, but unfortunately, mAP poe port is a pass-through port (will provide 5v if powered by usb) according to https://i.mt.lv/cdn/rb_files/mAP-171002090451.pdf
