Hey Guys just though id share my sucess with using Mikrotik as a Diskless boot server as ive seen theres a few posts up about it and no one seems to have sorted it out…

I have included An Diskless PXE boot server for Debian 5 & Ubuntu LTS 8.04, If wanted I can include a larger list of OS Or if you like it Try adding your own

All you need to do is add the boot file in your dhcp Network infomation

And then Unzip the PXE.zip file and upload it to your routers root file dir

Im loving this feature i went out today to install the boo service on all our remote office routers which are rb1000’s with a 8gb flash card for the file store means alot less traffic accross our WAN
