QoS - a simple advise...

hello all,

a customer uses an ADSL modem with a MT router.
His ADSL line is 1024/256.

When upload line goes to full, he cant download anything ! MRTG graphs 100% upload and 0% download !
I suppose this happens because ack packets cant pass…

So what do i have to do to give ack packets highest priority ?

This should be possible to do with 2.9 as it has firewall matchers for particular TCP flags. I do not know how to do this reliably in 2.8.
