Is it any way to mark messenger’s (msn, yahoo, skype …) video for QoS ?
With connection-rate, L7 filtering or other way?

Hi Normis.

I don’t know exactly what L7 does. Lets take for example Video over HyperText Transfer Protocol
L7=http/(0.9|1.0|1.1)[\x09-\x0d ][1-5][0-9][0-9][\x09-\x0d -~]*(content-type: video)
If I mangle this traffic via L7 and prioritizing it confront other packets, does really all streamed packets have higher priority then other ones?
I mean, L7 is used only for filtering or also for prioritizing matched packets?

you need to read up on QoS, Queues and how the priority setting actually works …
