QRT 5 AC

I’m looking for any data on the client/association capacity of the QRT 5 AC

What you expecting?
All products that are 802.11 something standard, with client devices standard, still standard,
and the density of client for megaherz still the same…

MikroTik has 2007 users limit on default config…

You must be thinking of associations. I’ve used most every AP out there and the most concurrent active devices on an AP I’ve seen is 150ish.

I realize there are certain factors that will determine this number (data rate limits, distance, RF environment, power etc.). I’m looking for data from experiences with the QRT 5 AC in high density situations.

What I’ve found thus far is the mention of 50-55 active clients and roughly 500 associations simultaneously.

Try to understand this reply: Is forbidden to talk on this forum about other competitor products that better suites your needs.

Understand?

1.) I didn’t mentioned a single competitor.
2.) At this time, and some time now, no other network product have suited myself or my clients better than the family of MikroTik products.
3.) I do understand, better than you think.

Thank you for your response.

So we did some limited testing at a festival in SoCal last week. the highest concurrent devices was 43 on one AP (this was not pushing the resources of the AP at all) with associations at a few hundred. The performance of the AP was fantastic for our purpose (outdoor, standing place), 30Mbps standard throughput. We are in talks to deploy 100 QRT 5 AC at an event in November, so we expect better data feedback.
