QRT 5 questions

Hi

TRied searching, but either i use wrong search terms or my questions have not been asked yet.

I am testing a QRT-5, and i notice it only has one led strip, but is a dual chain unit. The sextant, which is still untested, have apparantly one for hor. and one for vert.

How is the LEDs logic on wireless signal strength? Does the LEDs consider both chains?
How do i see what the tresholds are, for when the LEDs start? How can i adjust them as i want?

The quick config brochure state the antenna as a 17DB, when i bought the 23db unit.

We have not yet tested and approved v.6 in our network. 5.26 is behaving good, both mimo and siso. Why does MT ship units with testing software? Are there functions on the QRT and Sextant that we will loose by using 5.26?

Regards
Kim

Usually new hardware is unsupported or not fully suported on previous software version.

If you use previous 6.7 version of RouterOS, expect strange events on QRT-5.

Did you test it? what are results?

Sextants don’t have 2 rows of leds for signal.
Leds are for both chains.
Antenna is 23dbi, maybe typo error.
Latest firmware is almost always the best.

QRT 2 and QRT 5 are quite different products, their antennas are different, because one is for 2GHz and other is for 5GHz
