Que monitoring w/PRTG

I’ve used MRTG for monitoring simple ques in the past, so I’m somewhat familiar with OID’s etc. However, something has changed in the latest version of either MRTG or the Perl command interpreter. Whatver the case, I’ve been trying to utilize PRTG and I the only OID’s i seem to be able to ‘see’ are basic interface, CPU and memory utilization. Has anyone figured out how to access the OID’s for simple ques?

Thanks

/queue simple print oid

I got that part from working w/Mrtg. The problem I WAS having is getting those OID’s to work in Prtg.

Never mind, I figured it out. PRTG doesn’t like the exta “.” at the front of the OID value.

Thanks anyway!

I also have problems with prtg, the value I take form the mib browser of the number of interfaces (to see how many pppoe are connected), also without the “.” is not working.

do you do it somehow?

Hey guys

Did anyone get this right yet?

Im also having issues with prtg and OID’s

Mines more with PPPoe’s prtg when the pppoe session drops and comes back up it comes up as a new oid therefore fragmenting the data.

Any idea as to how we can fix the OID per a pppoe

I know on cisco there is a cmd for it :snmp ifmib ifindex persist

But cant find anything like this on mikrotik.

Any help would be appreciated.
