Hi
I’m trying to make work EM12-G MSFT in my router. Ive switched it to MBIM mode (AT+QCFG=“usbnet”,2).
Ive also switched USB to USB 2.0 mode. Router see lte1 but in logs I see repeating message “lte1: no response for: AT E0 V1”.
Im usb resources it recognizes as “Surface Mobile Broadboard” with serial number “1234567890ABCDEF” (if I remember right).
In windows (using usb adapter) modem recognized as Ethernet interface and it works and connects to lte network without any problem.
There a 3 unrecognized by windows devices. Ive forced selecting drivers manually for NMEA Port and AT prort. The main question what last device is remaining as unrecognized and marked “Surface Mobile Broadboard”. It has HW id USB\VID_2C7C&PID_0307&MI_03. Ive tried to force USB\VID_2C7C&PID_0307&MI_03 as DM Port but qpst and qflash dont want to work with this port
Complete list of devices looks like
USB\VID_2C7C&PID_0307&MI_00 - PPP (recognized by windows as Network Adapters\Surface Mobile Broadboard and it can up lte connection without problem)
USB\VID_2C7C&PID_0307&MI_02 - NMEA Port (If connect to this com port it starts logging NMEA protocol messages)
USB\VID_2C7C&PID_0307&MI_03 - ?DM Port (possibly DM port but for eg qpst dont see phone connection as well as qflash)
USB\VID_2C7C&PID_0307&MI_04 - AT port (works well and I can send AT command)
Any ideas how to make it work with mikrotik?
PS
Current fimware version is EM12GPAR01A14M4G. Im thing to try to update EM12GPAR01A15M4G or downgrade to EM12GPAR01A09M4G_MSFT. Anyway, how to do that without DM Port?
