Suppose i logged in successfully with user name & passed to by using hotspot login page. After authentication i got status page but by mistakenly i closed status page and now i want to get again the status page again. as of now i am able to get this status page using hotspot server IP address. But my customers are not ready use IP address to get status page. they are asking to provide some url base solution.
Like - www.statuspage.in or www.status.in. Please suggest.
If you want to use an name instead of using IP address, you will have to solve this by DNS. And…that’s about it, I think.
If your customers use the hotspot device as their DNS server, or you use NAT for this, you can add a line like so:
/ip dns static> add name=router.po address=192.168.88.1
I configured as below..
/ip hotspot profile
add dns-name=upgradeplan.com hotspot-address=10.0.0.4 html-directory=hotspot_LTPHYD http-proxy=0.0.0.0:0 login-by=http-pap name=LTPHYD Test rate-limit=100m/100m smtp-server=0.0.0.0
If i try to access upgradeplan.com in Mozila firefox, Microsoft edge browser page is redirecting to http://10.0.0.4/status this is perfect for me.
but i am facing issue in google chrom that If i try to access upgradeplan.com page is redirecting “https://www.afternic.com/forsale/upgradeplan.com?utm_source=TDFS_DASLNC&utm_medium=DASLNC&utm_campaign=TDFS_DASLNC&traffic_type=TDFS_DASLNC&traffic_id=daslnc&”
“upgradeplan.com”, This domain is available for sale!
Please help how solve this issues.
