Query about DATA RATE

Hi everyone.
Simple question, please…
What is the difference between the following wireless data rate settings? I mean what would happen to the client wireless user ?
As defined below/

I would be grateful for anyone explain that.

Those configured rates get sent as part of beacons (and other frame types, like probe requests/responses, etc.). There has to be alignment of the supported rates between the client and AP (STA and DS in wireless nomenclature). If they are changed in ways that clients that don’t support, the client will never connect to the wifi network.

It is common to adjust the Basic rate - especially the minimum - as it can have a significant impact on network performance. A high density design with good coverage might have the minimum basic rate set to something like 6 or maybe even 12. If one excludes rates like 11 (and others), 802.11b devices would never connect.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH
