Hi, I have question about coverage of some of your products
Can I cover 60 sq m apartment with hAP lite or hAP ac lite? Also I need AP for 100 sq m apartment - RB951Ui will be capable enough? Apartments are build with bricks - actually they are houses in one big complex and I need to cover it whole with routers. Houses are 3-floor and we have 2-3 apartments per floor. Thank you.
Any of our devices will cover 60sq/m just fine.
For the bigger one, depends on the walls. hAP ac definitely will cover a larger area.
Do you mean hAP ac lite or hAP ac? Do you have some software to see WiFi coverage area and power? Thank you.
hAP lite has smaller antennas and power, hAP ac is more powerful and has bigger antennas.
We don’t have software, but from personal experience I can tell you, that we have no problems covering a big conference hall + outside lobby with the hAP ac, as we usually use them as public access points in our MUM conference events for 200+ people
Thank you. I actually need to cover complex full of houses - everyone is with 3 floors - and about 100sqm per floor. I had one advice to put AP on the 1st and 3rd floor respectively to cover the whole complex. I think that RB951G could handle this problem. There are apartments which are 20-25 sqm and it will be very easy to cover them I think, but for example they’re Other advice is to cover whole complex with outdoor antennas.
