Hello everybody,
I want to install RouterOS 7.1.1 on my RB4011, but I want to test it first. So I created 2 partitions. First one remained on RouterOS 6.49.2. I have updated the second one to 7.1.1.
I disabled some modules in 6.49.2 because I didnt´need them and in the updated partition I still don´t see features like Capsman or wireless. I also don´t see new things like Wireguard, although I see that things like hw-offload in the vlan-enabled bridge works. So I wanted to reset the partition running 7.1.1 to defaults and build up a new conifg.
So here are my questions:
Can I run RouterOS 6 and 7 without problems parallel on two partitions?
If I do a configuration reset, will it erase the config on the active partition, on both partitions, or will it erase the partitioning at all?
