Assume I have a 100Mbs wan and a 1000Mbs lan. Queues would be for the purpose of prioritizing traffic.
In this scenario does it make sense to have a “down-stream” queue? If the router, the lan interfaces and lan devices can process and receive data 10 times faster than the wan interface can receive data would there be any need for a queue?
