Just found out about the dude. Really great tool, i love it.
So i was adding links and noticed that on one link the dude showed me more info than it did in the other links. So, in the link on the top, it shows SSID, Signal Strength and Data Rates, instead of just the traffic. I want all links to display these information. How can i do it?
Humm in 1st viewing you are don’t declare SNMP on top device?
All device are same type (in real, not on map)? show label in Appearance with right click on links, and compare with other link.
Top device which is a mikrotik router has no SNMP enabled, i dont have access to enable it. However i get extra stats on random other mikrotik routers than have SNMP enabled.
All devices are mikrotik routers.
At right click → Apperance, there is nothing on neither link. Except the type which is: link
Tried but couldn’t do anything. I really can’t figure out why some links get more info and others not. I deactivated SNMP on another device to check if it had anything to do with it and after some testing, it didn’t.
edit: Yeah i got an idea. The top link that has extra info is in station mode from my side. All other links are ap bridge mode. Will test it tomorrow cause i must go sleep .
I would like also to display signal strenght, essid, rate … on my wireless connections. (like what I saw on your screen shot up here). Unfortunately i can’t managed to do it. I’m using the dude 3.0 (beta4) and two ROS 532a with 2.9 os. It seems that ROS doesn’t support mikrotik’s experimental MIBs included in the dude so i can’t get any answers about signal strength for example with snmp. I tried also [snmp_wireless_link_info()] but no more informations are displayed. Snmp is activated on both ROS, one is “ap-bridge” and the other is “station”. Did you find a solution?
thx
