Hello, I am looking to use a mikrotik rg260gs to complete a test project that I have been working on. Basically I want to take a HP thinclient and run one of the custom router/firewall distros on it. The HP thinclient runs the distro great but the problem is that it only has 1 nic with no room for expansion. So what i’d like to do is vlan the thinclient’s nic. I have been reading over the swos wiki and I think I have an ok understanding of how to configure a mikrotik switch for my setup. I modified a pic of the vlan and vlans tab from the swos wiki to reflect the configuration I think I should set. I believe I have everything figured out except how to config the port for the thinclient. Would you mind taking a look at the attachment and letting me know. I’d like my LAN clients to be able to function without any additional config required on their end, ie completely transparent to LAN clients with no vlad id configuration required on their nic’s.
a) how to config the port for the thinclient?
b) aside from a, does the config look correct?
c) what is the sfp port?
