Greetings from Greece,

I want to install an LTE – WIFI router in my cottage house, where there is no fixed broadband connection.
I’m interested in buying the “LtAP mini LTE kit”.
I am thinking of installing the product with a SIM Card and having WIFI in my house via 4G, for surveillance purposes.

So, I would like to ask:

  1. If the kit’s protocols are supported for Greece’s providers, and
  2. if it is possible, by sending SMS to the device, to run scripts in order to enable and disable PPPoE remotely. I need this feature so that the bandwidth is not consumed while I am not there, but I need to be able to access the network and control security cameras when needed. I’ve read some articles at the forum, but I’m not sure if this feature is supported.
    If there is another Mikrotik product that supports these features, please let me know.

In https://www.frequencycheck.com/countries/greece I see that your country use Band20/3/7 (from slower to faster).
R11e-LTE6 can do Carrier Aggregation on B3+B7 and bring you good stability and speed.
If you reach a signal of course.

Yes, all that can be done.
I use scripts like “When new SMS then a) send it to e-mail b) with command then do that command” and that way I can do many stuff. Of course additional script’s who check if RB is online and if not change band or do other stuff to fix internet.
Scripting are powerfully.

Remember that SXTR + LHGR + LtAPmini + wAP R|LTE|4G use 100Mb Ethernet ports and you not reach more even if LTE itself can reach more. Only wAP via WiFi maybe can give more.
