I will thank you in advance guys. I hope someone can answer my problem.
Currently we are using Vmware Workstation Virtual x86 RouterOS installed on Intel core i5 (2 core used in VM) Workstation unit with 8gb (4gb used in VM) of ram. Host OS is Windows Server 2012.
All Interface is bridge into PCI-E Nic and PCI-E Nic 2 and disabled ipv4 on local area connection settings in windows.
Iām using virtual x86 routerOS so i cant use it to do the vlan, so the layer 3 switch is the one to set the vlan to separate different AP to see each other. Before all of the AP is in one subnet there is a big problems on APPLE TV, you can see many apple tv and it was a disaster because all of it is broadcasting on the whole network. The solution is seperate all the network(AP) thru vlan so the apple tv dont see each other and you can only see 1 apple tv on the AP that you the apple tv is connected.
All is working fine i have connection in all clients in all different VLAN with a dhcp from windows server 2012 (no Hotspot). So the problem start when i configure the hotspot.
- IP Binding is not working. Usually i will IP Bind mac add of my Phone/Computer to bypass the hotspot server. Still after i config the IP binding i am still in the captive portal.
- When i try to IP bind the mac of layer 3 switch vlan 10 192.168.2.2 all clients also bypassed the hotspot server.
