I am writing a Wiki-page regarding QoS: Bandwith control on ADSL link.
Challenge 1 solved and I think I did everything correct. Measurements confirmed this, so I’m happy.
However, at challenge 2, I didn’t get everything to work at once, so I have some questions:
- When I marked the packages, the docs said the Chain should be “prerouting”. However, I had to set them to “forward”. Why?
- When I inserted the dreambox-tx/rx queues, what should I specify as the parent? And what kind of queue-type should they be?
- How can I test if this actually works?
