Why not separate chapter for questions like next that relate to use of forum only? Nothing to do with ROS or routerboard.
Each time I open the forum in browser, I check tickbox for keep me connected, but still need to log-in again after I closed browser?
Cookies are enabled in browser.
Each time I make a post I only get 2 or 3 notifications by e-mail of replies made in my topic, after that no more! How is this possible? I want to be updated on every reply or post made on a topic I opened. Now I am loosing contact.
It is not that it is time related, sometimes I still get notification mail on a reply made to a topic I opened more then a year ago!
This behaviour is since some months and is getting irritating. I have it on all my 8 (?) office PC’s, IE or Firefox, all the same issues as in 2 and 3.
I looked at the configuration and I have no control over these things. We didn’t make the forum engine, it’s a standard PHPbb forum at the latest version. I will try to use the notifications and see if I have the same issue.
hmmm, I have to try forum my wife visit regurlarly, abt. dogs etc. Same style forum so must be same program template.
But what about setting separate forum chapter for this kind of ´small´ not ROS or rb related issues?
RSS is very cool if you have many sites to visit for reading, but don’t want to open so many tabs. It’s all news in one place, plain text.
To read RSS you can use dedicated programs, like Newsgator, Thunderbird email client has RSS reader built-in, also you can use Google reader, it looks like this:
