Hi all, the 802.11 frame can have 3-4 mac addresses that each have a role such as the SA, RA, TA, DA.
What is the exact order of these as they would appear in the frames using Cisco controllers and APs ?
For example after the frame control, what role is typically mac address 1 ? 2 ? 3 ? 4 ?
And how do the roles change around under different circumstances such when traffic is going to or coming from a certain direction ?
I found the relevant information on the Internet, Someone said that it depends on where the frame is coming from or going to and there are DS bits in the MAC header as well to assist with this. But I still feel confused, anyone can help?
