Questions about how CAPsMAN and CAPs interact

Hi guys,

I have two MikroTik’s - Audience, which is CAPsMAN, and hAP ac, which is CAP. My internet connection is a simple DHCP. hAP ac was connected to Audience via resetting it to CAPs mode, and Audience is in Home Mesh mode (default).

So, questions:

  1. do CAPsMAN ↔ CAP connection works over ethernet? I would expect that this is true, but then why CAPsMAN / CAP Interface lists four wireless interfaces? Two for each device and each wireless frequency;
  2. what does log messages like “@5ghz-ac-mikrotik hAP ac-1 disconnected, received disassoc: sending station leaving (8)” mean. I have them every few minutes;
  3. I didn’t have any entries in CAPsMAN / Datapaths menu. I’ve added one, and enabled Local Forwarding and Client to Client Forwarding there to improve speed, does that make sense? Is it enough to set just Bridge and these two options, will it apply automatically after that?
  4. can I connect to CAP node using winbox now? I tried using it’s IP and same user/password as in Audience, but it didn’t work - wrong user/password;
