Questions about RouterOS 7.1.5

Hi,

I tried yesterday RouterOS 7.1.5 on my CRS326-24G-2S+RM and have some questions.

• I couldn’t make the NTP client work, the status was stuck on “Waiting”, are other people also experiencing this ? (after a rollback to the 6.49.5 everything was working again)
• I couldn’t locate the Multicast forwarding cache status (MFC). Where is it located now ?
• While the CRS326-24G-2S+RM has 1 CPU, once RouterOS 7.1.5 was installed, 2 CPUs were discovered (with different usages), is it some kind of hyperthreading ?

Marvell Prestera 98DX3236 actually features a 2-core ARM CPU. But older ROS versions only supported single core. That’s why CRS326 is listed as single-core device in product page.

Regarding NTP client: I’m running 7.2rc5 on a few different devices and NTP client works fine on all of them. Post output of /system/ntp/client/export so we can check if there’s something wrong in that part of configuration. And, if NTP servers used are on WAN, verify that routes on your CRS are correctly set (run /tool/traceroute against NTP server addresses to verify it).
