Questions about several wireless interface features.

I have several questions about some of the wireless features in RouterOS, particular within WinBox, like Snooper, Scan, and Align.

  1. Snooper->Stations has a Signal column which never contains data. Should this field display the station signal strength? This would be useful. The Signal Strength is available for individual stations if you drill down. (This is with Multiple Channels enabled)

  2. Alignment Avg. Rx Quality occasionally reads 0 (zero) although individual Quality data seems normal and consistent. What does occasional Avg. Quality = 0 mean? From the documentation, I am going to guess that no packets were received since the last display update, but why not show Quality as 0 too? In some ways, it would be nice to keep the last know average reading and use another means to indicate no packets received during last “sample.” Is there a way to increase the “sample time,” i.e. decrease display update? This jumps to zero a lot. (This is with Receive All and SSID ALL enabled.)

  3. Is there a way to expire stations from the Scan list and/or show how long it’s been since the station was last received?

Btw, this is with a RB532 + CM9 and RouterOS v2.9.11.

Thanks.

Looks like my item #1 was fixed in 2.9.12. Thanks!
