Hello I would like to ask for some things for experts:
( I want to realize some small network for 2PC only but for distance 300m, My idea is have to two microtiks on both sides)

  1. All Mikrotiks HW are licenceced to work as AP? (licence nr.4) Or is necessary to buy extensions? (for HW)
  2. Is it possible to use Mikrotiks as AP without instaled SW routerOS on some server? (HW+SW)
  3. Is necessary to have same version routerOS on HW and installed on server? (same HW and SW version)
  4. When I use mikrotiks HW as AP and another one as client, and for configuration I will use routerOS I need to buy a licence (L4) for it?
    (licence for SW to manage HW AP?)

So to confirm, you have 2 locations 300m apart and want to link a pc at each location, so:

PC1<=Ethernet cable=>Wireless RB1####300m#####Wireless RB2<= Ethernet cable=>PC2

If so, then you need 2x level 3 RouterBoards, eg 2x SXT lites, 5GHz and mounted outside with Line of Sight.

One will run in bridge station and the other in station mode. You only need level4 with AP mode if you want more than 1 wireless link to one wireless radio.

If you want more than 1 pc at each end, simply add a switch between the RB and PCs. If you want wifi at ether location simply add a wireless AP to the switch or get a 4port+wifi AP.

No need for servers or MikroTik software. Its all on the RouterBoard.
