Questions on powering 4 hEX device using one RB260GSP

I am currently planning to build a network using 4 hEX (RB750Gr2) and RB260GSP for supplying power to 4 hEXes through the PoE out available on RB260GSP.

From RouterBoard website, the RB260GSP comes with a 24V, 2.5A power adapter and the adapter fulfills the hEX power requirement (8-30V).

Is it possible to do so or I need to get a larger power adapter for RB260GSP (or using individual power adapters included with hEX to power up remaining hEX that can’t be powered by PoE)?

Yes, it is possible to power 4 Hex through a RB260GSP.

RB260GSP max amp rating for each port is 1A.

Each Hex max amp consumption is (4W/24V = 0.166A) so plenty of spare power to cope with them.
