Not sure if this is the proper place to post this question, apologies if it is not.
I’ve been using Mikrotik routers for about a year with great success after many years with Cisco products. The other day I noticed a strange problem. The bytes / packets in the ip firewall / mangle rule were not matching the bytes / packets in the associated queue tree. The rules are for DHCP users and I saw 15 users connected, but did not see any traffic in queue tree. When I checked the firewall and interfaces / torch, saw the traffic.
I deleted / recreated the queue and it worked for a few hours, then stopped working again. No changes were made to the router, but I did upgrade to latest RouterOS which did not fix the problem. I also tried deleting / recreating the mangle rules, creating new queues and nothing seems to work.
Any help, tips, ideas would be greatly appreciated.
