Trying to figure out the best way to handle my e-mail server router as far as bandwidth, I need some sort of connection queuing like to allow maybe 100k/sec to each connection in or out, and a global maximum for those queues like 3meg total. Is this possible, if so can someone explain how to do this, I’m not to good with queue’s, I’ve read the documentation but it’s a little hard to read sometimes and comprehend, thanks!

PCQ works well for smtp because each ip pair gets a specific limit and doesn’t affect everyone … We ended up taking it back out though because mail starts to clog up. If you limit just outbound your mta queue will fill up, if you limit inbound you will probably have some peoples mail returned because they can’t contact your server.
