Queues not working

Hello,

I have Mikrotik v3.28 installed on a X86 server…I tried installing the v4.2 by uploading the packages into files and rebooting,but the server hasnt come up after that …then I installed the v3.28 through Netinstall and uploaded the old configuration into the Mikrotik…everything is working fine but there are 380 queues in it which are not working…

Please suggest…

“uploaded the old configuration” - in what way?

do you use bridging? have you looked at firewall rules - aren’t there any invalid ones?

Do you have Xen package installed?

Yes in the new 3.28 version I am seeing “Xen” installed…

Hello,

I uploaded the old configuration file in to the “Files” and then selected this configuration file and clicked on Restore…

We aren’t using bridging and there aren’t any invalid firewall rules as the firewall is not configured..

Do you require any additional information…?

Xen package is highly experimental and simple queues are not working with it. You can remove it with

/system package uninstall xen;
/system reboot;

Most probably you installed it accidentally by selecting all packages.

Yup…I did not take the risk of selecting the packages individually as am unaware of this new additional package…will try uninstalling it and get back to you if my problem is not resolved..
