Hi All,

I will like to know is there anyway one can setup BW control to limit a customer as per the user login name? instead of the normal mac or IP address?

Generally speaking: yes. How does the user login.

It’s a Hotspot setup. The customer logs in using the internal Authentication from the MT box. Where they user a username and password.

Then they are already receiving bandwidth based on the username.

The Hotspot user account is tied to a Hotspot user profile. When the user logs in a dynamic simple queue with the bandwidth from the user profile (and thus taken from the user account’s name and password associated with the profile) is installed for the user’s current IP address.
