I have a MT router with 2.8.10 on it, it has 2 NICs the internet side (ether1) and the customer side (ether2). Clients use PPPoE to connect, I also have another MT router that is physically on the ether2 side using EoIP
PPPoEServer(i)—bridge(ether2)----ether2-
-------ether1—internet
PPPoEServer(ii)–bridge(EoIP)----?----------/
If I set the queue tree parent to ether2 then all the PPPoEServer(i) chients go through it, if i set the parent to globalout then the PPPoEServer(ii) clients go through but are at double the rate / half the data throughput.
I’ve probably got this fundementally wrong but I much be close…
anyone care to comment
