Queues

I want to use mikrotik for bandwidth control by specifing each user. but when ever it cross 250 users then it stop responding.(can’t ping from user pc).

so, my question is how many users it can support for simple queuing?

depends on your hardware, what kind of PC is that?

I am using MT 2.9.6. i have more than 1000 users. can i control their bandwidth (specifing each user) by MT??

If yes, what kind of pc configuration needed for control those users BW?

If no, what is the solution or how to control??

Doing it properly you should be able to do this with a P3 1GHz 1GB Ram

My pc configuration is P2,350Mhz Compaq 256Mb RAM. I made 250 simple queues for bandwidth control (Specifying each user). But it stop responding to clients requests. BUT whenever the simple queues is 100 then it works.

What is the solutions?
How many simple queue list MT2.9.6 can support?
Please anyone help me out.

upgrade to 2.9.40 please. there is no reason not to - upgrade is free of charge.
