I have used several different models of MikroTik routers, and they all have shown the correct info on the quickset page. We recently set up 3 CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, and the Quickset page is not showing what is actually programmed into the router.
We don’t use the Quickset page at all for setup, we use a script template as a starting point.
Is it normal for the Quickset page to not reflect what is programming into the router?
Has anyone experienced this? I’m pulling my hair out trying to figure out why it’s happening. It doesn’t seem to be happening on older rb750gl routers.
It seems like even when you start with the default setup, the quickset page is not correct.
Can someone from Mikrotik chime in and confirm?
I’ve tried different configs, but no matter what I do, the Quickset page does not reflect what I have in the router.
If anyone has seen this, I would really appreciate some feedback. I feel very alone!
I don’t like to come across as a pest, but I have to say this forum is the worst for help of any that I have ever seen.
It’s a shame that such a great product has poor support.
I have seen this, but it has never been an issue for me since I do not use quickset for this device.
If you have an urgent issue or would like something addressed by MikroTik, you should email support.
Thank you! I don’t use quickset either. I was just wondering if I was doing something to cause the disconnect.
If anyone else has seen this, let me know. Thanks.
… but Quickset is for HOME USERS,
CCRs are for NETWORKING SPECIALISTS
NETWORKING SPECIALISTS are mystical creatures that lives in dark, noisy rooms with lot of blinking lights (called Server rooms)
and story is that not only they don’t use Quickset at all, but rumors are they do everything in CLI with scripts and don’t use Winbox…

I get it. I don’t use quickset, if you can read. I have never seen errors on quickset, and I was asking if anyone else was seeing what I was seeing.
