when do you check the NAT in quickset (near DHCP) is that for dhcp or for the router itself ? of course its ?NATed if its Router mode right ?
Most of the times a private address range is used on the LAN side (192.168.x.x / 172.16.x.x / 10.x.x.x)
If that is the case and you have 1 public IP, NAT must be enabled. This will take care of masquerading the internal IP with the external IP when connecting to the internet
yeah well whats weird is it doesnt change anything for me.. on some i have it checked on other routers not.. they all private ips 192.168.xx.xxx and wan is public…
it could affect the services right ?
